I agree with the previous comments that your topic is too broad. The purpose of this research is to learn about something "in depth." In the time available you won't be able to deal with the breadth of your question in any detail. Focusing on even one rock 'n roll band (i.e. Rolling Stones), or one rock-n-roll movement (i.e. punk rock) in depth would probably be enough. Alternatively, you could focus on how rock n roll and the attitudes and values associated with it have changed and become part of our society in general. I think you will need to make a decision about which tack to take. We have quite a number of books that you might helpful. Check the online catalog. I don't see any resources yet from your research on your blog.
